Central Florida is gearing up for another spectacular year of growth in 2024, with a lineup of groundbreaking projects set to transform the cityscape and enhance the overall experience for residents and visitors alike.
Orlando's Evermore Resort is a highly anticipated project that promises to offer an immersive vacation experience for its guests. The resort spans over 1,000 acres and will feature an impressive 20-acre water park, which boasts a swimming lagoon bordered by sandy beaches.
Winter Park's new green space will be a stunning addition to the community. The park will be adorned by seven grand live Oak trees that will offer ample shade for visitors and events. In the future, the park could potentially serve as a "greenway" to connect other nearby parks.
The Brazilian-based, internationally-renowned restaurant Fogo de Chão has announced plans for a second location in Orlando, Florida. The new 8,080-square-foot restaurant will open in early 2024 at Vineland Pointe, a shopping, dining, and entertainment at the junction of Interstate 4 and Daryl Carter Parkway.
Universal Orlando Resort will debut an all-new themed land featuring DreamWorks Animation’s beloved animated characters. Attractions will include franchises such as Shrek, Trolls, and Kung Fu Panda. Universal did not announce a specific opening time frame for the new DreamWorks land, only saying it would be coming next year.
AREA15 is an immersive entertainment and retail complex that is set to open its doors off of I-4. The 50,000 sqft space will feature various experiences that are unlike anything else in the city, including interactive art installations, virtual reality experiences, and immersive theater.
Creative Village’s Phase II will encompass a mixed-income multifamily development, a multi-tenant office building, a hotel, and over 500 student housing beds. Completion is estimated for 2024 or 2025 depending on market conditions.
The .12-acre expansion will bring new features to the park, such as artwork, updated lighting, large sidewalks, new benches, shade trees and native landscaping. The project will add more green space to downtown and provide another unique gathering spot for residents, workers and visitors.
NFL Pro Bowl 2024 | Orlando, FL
For the first time in three years, the NFL will return to Orlando to celebrate the league's best players as they compete in a multi-day AFC vs. NFC competition with skills showdowns and a highly anticipated flag football game. The game will be hosted in Orlando's Camping World Stadium on February 4th, 2024.
The two-day traveling “Rock the Country” music festival extravaganza, with headliners Jason Aldean and Kid Rock and a host of top name country music acts, is coming here June 7 and 8, 2024. The concerts will be held at Majestic Oaks Ocala.
